Privacy Policy

Stampy (“the App”) provides product labels and badges to merchants who use Shopify. This policy describes how personal information is collected, used and shared when you install or use the App.

Information we collect

When you install the App we automatically access, through the Shopify API: your shop's name, domain, email, owner name, timezone, currency format and languages, and product data (titles, tags, prices, inventory, collections, metafields) needed to evaluate label conditions. We store the labels and badges you create, and any support requests you send (name, email, phone, message).

We do not collect or store personal information about your customers. Visitor attributes used for display conditions (country, language, device, logged-in state, customer tags) are evaluated in the visitor's browser and never sent to our servers.

How we use it

Only to provide and improve the App, to answer your support requests and to handle billing through Shopify. We do not sell data and do not share it with third parties except service providers needed to run the App (hosting, email, the Tawk.to chat widget in the app admin).

Data retention

When you uninstall the App, your data is deleted within 48 hours of Shopify's shop/redact request. Product data cache is removed at uninstall.
